Tortuga is more or less a gigantic tortoise that roams the world as it pleases. A awe-inspiring sight, Tortuga is so large that it has a small ecosystem on its back. Pockets and cracks in its enormous shell have collected water and have provided a basis for life to symbiotically begin. Due to the nature of origin, some of the strangest and most unique flora and fauna exist on Tortuga’s back. A century or so back, a few bold settlers and adventurers decided to try and start a small hamlet on the back of Tortuga; the hamlet grew into a village and the village into a town over the years. Today, the Town of Tortuga is something of a tourist attraction bringing in many adventurous souls to live a few days on the living homestead. Those that make their homes on Tortuga cannot imagine life any other way and have seemed to form a relationship with their home that makes them truly symbiotic.
